Africa has a long history and a rich culture ,and this is a shown in tradition clothing. the three colors_ red, goldand green are often used in clothing.The first color represents the blood of millions of people who fought for freedom; the second is for rich resources of the earth; and the third stands for the greenland of home.

Because clothing has strong social meanings, people are very careful in choosing what to wear. It would be a serious mistake to wear the wrong clothes, or to dress in the wrong way. For example, in Ghana a woman should wear her waistband differently according how important the social event is.

Tradition clothes the clothing also tell us about everyday life. African designs are famous for loose clothing. The temperature there can very high during the daytime but every low at night. So it requires that the clothes are comfortable for daily life.

Today although more and more like wearing Western clothes, especially in big cities in Africa ,traditional African dress is still valuable. This is because it has deep cultural meaning.

通过看传统服饰也能了解当地的日常生活。非洲的衣服因宽松而著名。那里的气温白天很高，但晚上却很低，因此，这样的气候，要求日常生活衣服要很舒服。

如今虽然越来越多的年轻人喜欢穿西式的衣服，尤其在非洲的大城市里，然而，非洲的传统服装仍然十分重要，这是因为它有很深的文化底蕴。
